Apollo Nida Reveals Details About His Childhood, Including Drug Abuse And Foster Homes

Apollo

Apollo Nida has had a rough couple of months. After being arrested on bank fraud and identity theft charges, the RHOA star was accused of cheating on his wife and scamming a charity. Now, Nida is speaking to RadarOnline about all of the accusations and revealing details about his childhood that involved drug abuse and foster homes.

“People want to hear the true side of me,” Nida says. “I’m more than just what you see on TV and what’s been tossed around in the media.”

When Apollo was a child, a family member “OD‘d on heroin in front of me. I lived from place to place,” he reveals, adding that as a young adult he turned to a life of crime.

“Don’t do as I do, but take my experiences and hope that it will give you a better platform,” he says. “I have very educating things to say, so that people can embark on something new.”

“We have a lot of good stuff to talk about!” he says, looking at the bright side. “Everything doesn’t have to be negative. “Right now, I’m working on a three-part project on a new fitness series with P90x and Insanity. I’m about to launch the pre-natal video for pregnant women. I’m working on a distribution deal. Working on fine dining. It’s a lot. We’re doing monthly subscriptions to the site. I have a lot of positive things out there to talk about.”

AllThingsRH

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.
