Why Andy Cohen Wanted to Keep Jill Zarin’s Cameo a Secret

When the RHONY trailer aired nobody was as surprised to see Jill Zarin in it more than Jill Zarin herself.

“Jill is a Yenta! She likes to talk, and I didn’t want her telling anyone that she was in the super tease,” Andy Cohen recently told AOL, adding that, “Yes! You didn’t see that coming, right?”

It seems as if the surprise worked out for everyone including the RHONY alum Jill Zarin. I think it was better that way, actually. She emailed me that morning, and she was like, ‘My phone is blowing up! I had no idea!’ It was great … I just wanted it to come out [in the trailer].”

Jill won’t be on much of the upcoming season. “Well, she only appears once or twice. It’s fun, and it’s great to have her back! Look, I love Jill, and she’s obviously part of the reason the show is as successful as it is. She’s an original, and I told her 1,000 times, ‘Do not tell a soul that you’re doing this! Keep your mouth shut!’ But, it’s going to be great,” he said. “The truth of the matter is that we didn’t tell Jill that she was in the super tease, because we wanted it to be a surprise to everyone…”

  1. That hair cut looks cute on her. Anyhoo, it’ll be interesting to see how they squeeze her in for a cameo this season.

  2. He kept it a secret because no one cares…..the thirst is too real for Jill “why wasn’t I included” Zarin, she probably has less than 120 seconds of camera time and I guarantee this lady has a whole press junket planned for a cameo…ugh, that’ll probably be the episode I don’t watch…DON”T BRING JILL ZARIN BACK
