Marisa Zanuck will be on Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and AllThingsRH has an EXCLUSIVE interview with her! She shares what led her to the show, some of her history, that she’s always loved The Real Housewives Franchise, what we can expect on the upcoming season, and more! She’s very lovely, I can’t wait to see her on Season 3! Check out the interview below, along with pictures of Marisa and her family she shared with us exclusively!
How did Bravo approach you to be on RHOBH?
MZ: “I was doing a show here in Los Angeles, called Selling LA which is a real estate based show very professional, but I always wanted to do the housewives and thought I would give it a shot, so one day out of the blue I received a phone call asking me to come in for a interview. I love the franchise and happen to be friends with Kyle Richards for many years so I thought It would be fun.. I also thought it could hopefully be really good for my business PR.”
How long have you lived in BH?
MZ: “I grew up in Beverly Hills, went to Beverly Hills High School so this really is my home!!”
Where did you meet your husband Dean?
MZ: “I met my husband Dean when I was 21 and was working at a real estate firm, in Beverly Hills which was next door to Deans office while he was working with his Father at the Zanuck Company. We met and he asked me to move in with him 2 weeks later and I never went home.”
I know that you have two beautiful children, will they be appearing on the show?
MZ: ” I do have two children, Jack 10 and Darryl 8 years old. They will appear on the show and they love filming.. especially my daughter. She also loves coming with me to events where its appropriate to bring her.”
We are very excited to see you in the new season of RHOBH, did you enjoy being a part of it?
MZ: “I have really enjoyed being on the show, its a lot of fun but as you will see I am the new girl and I do need to proceed with caution these girls have had two previous seasons together so they have a kind of bond, relationship so being new, I had to be weary of this.. Also, I am the kind of person who speaks my mind but I am never mean as I do not believe in hurting others. There is a lot of drama this season but fortunately it doesn’t include me like I said before I would never intentialy hurt someone or her family, but you will see drama. There are some heated interactions with me but I did tread carefully.”
Which ladies did you get along with the most?
MZ: “I would like to think that I got along with everyone because thats my personality but there is one or two that I didn’t. I really got along well with Kyle, Brandi, Yolanda, Lisa and Adrienne who I absolutely adore!! She is the nicest woman on the show and she did welcome me with open arms the way Kyle did!! to me this is a show!! we are playing a character, of course it is us and it is reality TV, but this isn’t the way we normally act or treat people I think people have to remember this when watching!! Everything is heightened and exaggerated a hundred times!!! I know that this is a show for TV but the public also has to remember that people are trying to be popular for obvious reasons.. At the end of the day I get to go home to my family, my wonderful house husband and kids whom I love soooo very very much!!! I do believe that women need other woman and I really am a girls girl!!! and I truly believe in woman sticking together!!!”
Who is one of your favorite housewives from another city?
MZ: “My favorite Housewife happens to be Kim from Atlanta Housewives!! I love her personality and how she is so straight to the point a lot like me… She is very cool!!!”
Do you have any upcoming projects in the works?
MZ: “I do have many projects in the works but of course I have to see what the response is from the public and the viewers, if they like me!! thats what is scary to me!!!!! I am along for the ride just like the other girls, hopefully it will be a wonderful one!!”
