Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Echevarria’s son, Peter Rosello, will not be facing jail time for posting a video on Facebook of kicking a homeless man, running away, and laughing about it. RadarOnline is reporting that Peter reached a plea agreement with the prosecutor at the consent of the man he assaulted. Peter has entered a pre-trial diversion program for first time offenders, and upon completion, the charges will be dropped and his record will be sealed. What exactly does this mean? Peter has to write an apology letter to the man he attacked, pay $1000 to the victims’ assistance fund as well as paying the investigative costs for his case, and complete 100 hours of community service by volunteering in a homeless shelter.
Escaping jail isn’t the only reason Alexia Echevarria is making headlines. Alexia, and her husband Herman are being investigated by the IRS. Reportedly, when they filed their 2009 tax return they didn’t pay the full amount owed to the government. They still owe Uncle Sam, $90,078.44! After giving the wealthy couple several chances to pay, the IRS has placed a lien on the couple’s $1.2 Miami mansion in May. According to Gossip Extra, Alexia and Herman have still neglected to pay it.
