Albert And Tommy Manzo Being Sued For Discrimination

Caroline Manzo’s husband Albert has been served with a discrimination lawsuit, RadarOnline is reporting. A waitress who worked for Albert and his brother Tommy at The Brownstone House in Paterson, NJ, claims she is owed money for overtime and alleges the brothers of bigotry. “Are you blind?”  Tommy, estranged husband of Dina Manzo, allegedly yelled at her, Lanise Jackson claimed in court papers obtained by the NY Daily News. “What are you, Chinese? Open your eyes.”

Jackson claims Albert and Tommy Manzo called her and other Brownstone employees “Spic bitches” on numerous occasions, and threw other racial and sexual slurs. In the court documents, Jackson says she was “constructively terminated as she could no longer endure the racial, sexual, ethnic and country of origin epithets hurled at her hourly.”

Jackson worked for the Manzo family from Oct of 2011 to April of 2012 and again from Sept of 2013 to Nov of 2013. She described the catering hall as “unhygienic,” “roach infested” and “filthy,” and claims it was a hostile work environment in which she endured hourly wage violations. Her attorney claims she went back to work at the Brownstone because “she couldn’t find a job anywhere else.”

Albert denies all of Jackson’s allegations. “I’ve never spoken to any employee in that manner. This is the most insane thing I’ve ever dealt with. Now I got The Daily News calling me about this, I’m seriously thinking about launching a countersuit. She is defaming me,” he told the Daily News.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.
